Workflow Subscriber Status

The Workflow Subscriber must be running for Workflow to be fully functional. This component acts as a link between the Workflow Server and the Laserfiche Server. The Workflow Subscriber receives notification from a Laserfiche Server when a change is made to a Laserfiche entry. It evaluates the event to determine if a starting rule or wait condition is satisfied. If so, the Workflow Subscriber notifies the Workflow Server.

Checking the Workflow Subscriber Status

  1. Click the Windows Start button on the computer the Workflow Subscriber is installed on. (If you are running Windows 8, from the desktop select Settings from the Charms bar.)
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. Select Administrative Tools. (If you are running Windows 7 or 8, you may need to select System and Security and click Administrative Tools.)
  4. Double-click Services.
  5. Under the ClosedName column, locate the Laserfiche Workflow Subscriber 9.0 service.
  6. Under the Status column, verify that the Laserfiche Workflow Subscriber 9.0 service is Started. If the Status column is blank the service is not running, and you will need to manually start the service.

Manually Starting the Workflow Subscriber
